In this 5 day intensive workshop we’ll practice figure modeling from life with an emphasis on selecting and composing the best pose for the composition. Students will explore various poses with small, loose sketches and discuss the poses as a group to select a final project to be modeled at 18” scale. Students will be encouraged to draw inspiration from the incredible and vast collection of figurative sculptures in the surrounding Brookgreen Gardens’ sculpture garden.
